Is It Wise To Invest In An Expensive Kids Bag?

I had a long discussion with my friend who owns www.partytwinkle.com.au regarding kids' bags during the time I was contemplating on what products to offer in my first online store.
Being a practical person (bordering on being a spartan mum), when my kids were younger and needing a bag for daycare, I would almost always reach for the nearest and cheapest. Always pressed for time, I would find myself quickly scouring the aisles of a shop near my office during lunch breaks and grab something without giving it much thought. But I noticed those bags only last for a year. By the year end, it looked tattered and worn out.
When I asked my friend how much these cool and trendy bags she is introducing to me, I almost fell off my chair! What??? was all I can say.
But the more I research about these bags, the more I'm getting convinced that these bags are worth their price. I reckon, I am now a convert. The cool and trendy design plus the durability of these bags are worth the money!
I have no answer to my question yet, but I will be keeping an eye on what's available in the market and continue the quest for an answer. Till then!
